  1. Check the Task to run on startup, in case of a server shut down the task settings will persist. This makes the setting Automatic.
  2. Set the preferred time this task will be pushing data- preferably when the clinic is not busy- Early morning or at the end of the day before clinic closes. For high volume sites and sites on internet 24hrs, you can set this to run at night.

NB: The Installation came with a present time of 23:59:59- Midnight, this is not ideal for facilities that switch off their server machines, please change to an ideal time.

  1. Set an appropriate repeat interval- Note this the duration after which this task will run again- Set the interval that will not cause a disruption to service delivery, for high volume sites set this to run after every 24 hrs.
  2. Click on the save button to commit the changes made.

NB: Monitor the site and adjust the settings accordingly

Repeat this for the other task.

Step 5: Go back to Manage scheduler and check on the below- Important Confirmations
image.png

  1. The Tasks status is Started and highlighted in Green
  2. The scheduled time corresponds to your settings as shown above
  3. The task is set to run on Start up and is displayed as Automatic and NOT Manual
  4. Monitor the sites after Your set Push time elapses to confirm the Last Execution time is within a recent time and date.
  5. Confirm the time the task will run again as per your set time.
  6. From Admin- Advanced settings, confirm this Global property caseSurveillance.lastFetchDateAndTime, If the time it last fetched data is not recent this means data is not being streamed to NDW, then stop, reconfigure your tasks settings and start the task again.
