When authenticating a Patient using a biometric scanner, i get this error, how do i resolve it?

This error occurs when KenyaEMR application is unable to communicate with biometric scanner device at hardware level (even if scanner is online). Redo first time setup of biometric scanner in KenyaEMR, to resolve issue.
